The last admission is sold 45 minutes before the museum's closing time. Advance ticket holders and SFMOMA members can skip the general admission line. However, once inside the museum all visitors may still encounter lines to enter popular exhibitions. If you plan on visiting the museum more than once in the year ahead, consider becoming a member. Save big with CityPass.The nine-day pass includes admission to SFMOMA and four other institutions, a Bay cruise, and a seven-day passport for Muni and the cable cars. Group admission tickets can be purchased at the museum or in advance by calling the group visits coordinator at 415.357.4197.
